From the back of the class to top of the school
Aisyah was nearly held back in Form 2. With sponsorship and a weekly mentor, she finished secondary school as her year's academic prefect.
When Aisyah's mother lost her job, the first thing to go was tuition. Her grades slid quickly. Her teacher referred her to our sponsorship programme — and what changed her path was not just the financial support, but a weekly check-in with a volunteer mentor who refused to let her drift.
Three years later, she sat for SPM as her school's academic prefect.
